Reiki / Energy Healing

"Rei" (universal) and "Ki" (life force energy) is an ancient Japanese practice that promotes relaxation, realizing many benefits.

What to Expect
The Reiki practitioner will have you lie down on a padded table. You are always fully clothed. You may be offered a pillow or a blanket, if you prefer one. Alternatively you may wish to sit in a chair, if you're not comfortable lying down. There may be music, essential oils, crystals or other items used. The practitioner will let you know when she is starting and when she is finished. It begins with a silent gassho (meditation/intention/prayer) and then the practitioner will gently place her hands in various appropriate positions throughout your body. If you prefer not to be touched, she can place her hands just above your body. Reiki is completely safe, gentle, natural and intelligent in that the energy knows exactly where to go. After the session, you'll have an opportunity to discuss your experience. Some clients feel heat, tingling, emotional, sense of peace, relaxed. It's really an individual and personal experience. Other's may feel nothing, but the energy flows regardless. Many say they sleep better after their session.

Preparing for Your Appointment
​
Be sure to wear comfortable non-constricting clothing and clean dry socks. Avoid wearing jewelry, belts or anything metal. Do not eat anything heavy right before your session. Allow for a little extra time for your first appointment. If you are on Zoom, then it's suggested you lie in bed, in a recliner or on a sofa where you won't be disturbed during the session. Dim lights, soft music or whatever ambience you wish to create is up to you.
Reiki, as with other alternative modalities, support you in the process of healing and helps you to awaken the natural healing abilities that's within each of us. It's not a one-and-done, tap on your forehead and go. The energy is cumulative and the more you partake, often the better you'll feel. How often you choose to go is up to you. Dis-ease is cumulative too and for most it took time to get to a point of disease, illness or discomfort. Be patient in your healing.

Reiki Rates:
60 min (in-person) session: $120
60 min (Zoom) session $100

30 min distant Reiki/Healing List: $80 (client need not be present).
60 min (in-person) Group Reiki session: $120 first person, $25 each additional person. Perfect for group events, families, businesses, assisted living facilities, or wherever else a group may benefit from relaxation and healing intentions.
Animal Reiki:
30-60 min (Zoom) session: $80
30-60 min (in-person) $120
30 min distant Reiki session (animal need not be present): $40
Note: How long a session lasts is really dependent on the cooperation of the animal involved.

Intuitive/Spiritual Energy Healing:
A laying of hands on (or over) a client in meditation and prayer. Concentration on any areas that come through in an intuitive manner. $60 for a 30 min session. (In person or distantly via Zoom).

Guided Meditation:
30 min (Zoom) session: $60
60 min (Zoom) session: $120
15 min (approx) personalized meditation: $75 (Recorded file or private YouTube link). After a quick consult, the video is created based on issues you may be dealing with. Video can include pictures you provide.

Chakra Stones/Crystal Sets:
Set includes all seven stones/crystals (representing each Chakra), chart and organza bag. Stones/crystals chosen may not be exactly as show. Each set comes in it's own gold colored organza drawstring bag and is Reiki charged. Perfect for gifting!

These beautiful soft stuffed bears are Reiki infused with love, by me. Makes a nice gift for yourself, a sick friend, cancer patient, elderly patient or young child. Whoever cuddles the bear, reaps its benefits. Will mail to you or recipient. This bear is recommended for ages 3 & up. Bear is 10", and made from 100% polyester fiber. He has a tee-shirt with logo and a satin ribbon around his neck. His nose and eyes are embroidered, so there are no hard parts. So soft & very comforting!

Animals Love Reiki Too!
I've had many wonderful animal clients over the years...dogs, cats & even fish! These top pictures was my old girl (13 at the time), who had an aggressive form of cancer. At one point she suffered a stroke and was partially paralyzed. I sat and cried and then did Reiki on her. The very next day she was able to walk again. Although Reiki didn't save her from what was inevitable, it did give us the gift of a little more time. Eventually we had to say our good-byes and I held her just like in the pics and used Reiki to help her transition. It was so beautiful that even our Vet was crying! The botom pics are my little boy (now 12), who often comes to me and jumps on my lap so that I can use Reiki on him. What a love he is!
Reiki Bear
Reiki Bear is my pride and joy. I wanted a way to do distant Reiki and use a surrogate and got myself a very large teddy bear. Then I thought how wonderful if I could infuse Reiki & love into something tangible and very huggable! Hence the birth of Reiki Bear.

Each bear gets a full Reiki treatment and is infused with lots of love. Before he goes to his recipient I give it extra hugs and tell him to love his new person with every fiber of his being. So many have commented that he has magical healing powers. Some have purchased more than one, because their pets were stealing them for a cuddle too.

Chakra Stones
Crystals and stones have many healing properties and unique purposes. I sometimes like to use them in my practice with my clients by placing them on or near my client. You can also place them under your mattress. One of my favorite stones is the pink quartz as it represents all things relating to love. I do have some of those and other stones available.
